Sales Account Manager – Competitive Salary + Benefits – Michigan, U.S.The RoleAmphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Sales Account Manager to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY. The successful candidate will report to the Central Regional Sales Manager.The key responsibilities of this Sales Account Manager include, but are not limited to: 12 Month forecast on significant Programs and Products for all Business Units both direct, through subcontractors & through distribution. The forecast for unique Amphenol callouts should be understood and represented with a high degree of confidence when the customer has a contract or working to secure a contract, this includes LTA & SIMS program items. Demand Creation Power Points forms will be fill out and turned in to the Business Unit & Management teams quarterly Travel with factory personnel into accounts as needed to support design, manufacturing, quality and new opportunities. If you cannot make it to a joint call with factory personnel, then either that person or yourself can help facilitate appointments and that Business Unit representative can make the sales call on there on and make sure that the two of you communicate about the call and what the next actions are and who owns them. When traveling into an account have a clear objective of why you are visiting the account with the factory representatives and what the desired outcome is. Plan appropriately, and always have the “finish line in sight”. Travel to Amphenol factories when appropriate to engage the team on new designs & critical deliveries. Sell the factories on why the Program is vital to our success. Responsible with inside team to have the ability to view the Electronic Purchasing & Report Card system your customer may be using. You will need to get a password and signed on to the electronic systems at the account. Work on a monthly basis with the Quality Teams & Inside Sales
