Accounts Receivable Analyst reports to the Credit Supervisor. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous financial/accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. This position requires initiative, attention-to-detail, and the ability to identify challenges and present solutions. As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will play an integral role in our cash flow projections and will have the opportunity to make a company-wide impact.Essential Duties and Responsibility Manage incoming cash flow: Record daily cash transactions against applicable invoices, research and resolve payment discrepancies, and develop an improved process for reconciling customer remittances Ensure all customer invoices and statements are processed daily and resolve any billing errors Support customer maintenance activities including updating customer accounts, maintaining digital files of customer payments and remittances, reviewing credit lines, and managing disputes Support the A/R team with analyzing financial statements and D&B credit information in order to determine a customer’s credit worthiness Perform collection activities for assigned portfolio and work to reduce DSO Adhoc reporting and analysis as assignedQualifications/Requirements Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field 2+ years experience in Accounts Receivable within a manufacturing environment, preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including working with large amounts of data, creating pivot tables, and writing advanced formulas (e.g. V-LOOKUP or INDEX MATCH, SUMIFS) Oracle ERP experience a plus Ability to work well cross-functionally, both internally and externally Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
