SummaryThis position supports the production and quality teams to ensure products are made to customer specifications and our teams adhere to standard company practices during the production process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Interpret customer and engineering specifications to provide guidance to production teams. Conduct and document First Article reviews, including communications with customers.  Work with customer source inspectors to present proper documentation and product. Alert and explain non-conformances to production teams. Conduct containment activities for non-conforming products.  Assist quality engineering in determining root causes for non-conforming products.  Work with production, engineering and quality teams to identify and implement process improvements.  Conduct process and product audits to support proper execution of customer requirements and adherence to company practices.  Assist document control department to maintain document revision levels and release of new and revised company procedures, training forms and other documents.    Perform required duties to check and calibrate a variety of precision mechanical and electrical measuring devices, instruments, gauges while maintaining required calibration frequency, schedules, and records. Other duties as may be assigned. Qualifications/Requirements Associates degree in a technical discipline, or a minimum of five years of solid experience in the production or inspection of electromechanical products.  Good analytic skills. Quality Management System experience working within a system based on the ISO 9001 standard.  Experience with the AS9100 standard is a plus.  Ability to interpret customer specifications and requirements.
