The Electrical Engineer creates/implements test procedures, programs, fixtures that verify that a product operates as designed and provides technical expertise in testing and product knowledge.Essential Responsibilities: Defines, refines, and maintains processes, methods, and plans for testing products Troubleshoots and debugs electrical circuits to determine the root cause for test station and product issues Conducts product testing (with technician assistance), documents results and product issues, and drives issues to closure with design team Ensures that test plans can be easily developed and maintained Ensures proper documentation oftest plans, specifications, and diagrams Ensures that all product needing testing meets established quality and functional requirements Seeks and evaluates components for use in testing Borisch products, and ensures that the best components are used based on company goals by making recommendations related to selection of core components or suppliers Interfaces with customer engineers on design and functional test issues Work with the Test Technicians to develop and maintain a positive, pro-active work environment that is focused on improving Borisch's Test Acceptance and throughput. The Role - Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Principal Cost Accountant to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ.The Principal Cost Accountant will establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, and reporting financial information; perform financial analysis to support operations, marketing, and management to make informed business decisions; and identify, analyze, and implement operational and compliance improvements. The key responsibilities of the Principal Cost Accountant include, but are not limited to: Manage the multi-site Cycle Count Compliance Program Oversee or directly perform daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of specific KPI’s and financials Provide value added analysis to Controllers, Marketing, and Operations to help make sound business decisions Calculate financial impact of insourcing, outsourcing, and work being transferred between facilities Lead support of all cost or pricing data audits and prepare submittals of required documentation Subject matter expert on the accounting requirements for Government Procurement, including FAR and CAS Participate in ensuring accurate inventory valuations and inventory reporting Act as the leading advocate for material variance mitigation and cost reductions Lead the consolidation and analysis of absorption vs. cost incurred Significant ad hoc reporting and analysisLocation - Mesa, AZ 25 minutes from Phoenix, AZThe Person - The key skills and qualities of a Principal Cost Accountant at Amphenol Aerospace Operations: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics; MBA preferred Prior cost accounting experience working for an international manufacturing company 10 plus years of work experience in related fields with experience in government contracting preferred Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively on cross-functional teams Ability to multi-task and prioritize work requirem
