The candidate who is selected will implement and supervise a new manufacturing line in our in our expanded space, 5 times our former size!   Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the 2nd Shift Supervisor Supervises direct reports and provides leadership to team/department Trains, supports and monitors and direct reports to ensure expected job performance Helps recruit and select team members Is responsible for meeting and exceeding Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity goals Helps lead Continuous Improvement projects and processes using LEAN tools and concepts Evaluates performance of direct reports by writing and administering reviews in a timely manner Provides coaching and development to team members Provides production data and reports as required  Conducts daily stand- up meetings and provides support Evaluates labor requirements to recommend proper staffing levels Monitors and recommends overtime requirements for the team/department Helps resolve material issues by working with Purchasing and material management Performs other tasks as assigned by ManagerJob Requirements Minimum 3 years leadership experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing environment Associates or Bachelor’s degree, preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to interact well and coach team members

SummaryThe Manufacturing Engineer Manager leads the Manufacturing Engineering teams for Connector and Cable Assembly at the Mesa, AZ facility. This position will also work with Engineering counterparts in the Wallingford, CT, West Palm Beach, FL and Shanghai, China facilities.Qualified candidates for this position will lead the advancement of our manufacturing technology improvement of our operation. The Manufacturing Engineering function maintains the efficiency and effectiveness of all production related manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure we manufacture high quality products in a repeatable and cost-effective manner.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide leadership and ongoing coaching to the Manufacturing Engineering team dedicated to supporting production Establish objectives, schedules and priorities for Manufacturing Engineering activities Plan and coordinate required resources for the Manufacturing Engineering teams Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment / work space for maximum efficiency Identify new manufacturing equipment technology. Propose and justify through capital expenditure requests Lead and participate in problem-solving teams.
