The Continuous Improvement Specialist drives change for ABT. The Continuous Improvement Specialist identifies and develops safety, quality and productivity improvement initiatives for the Company. The Continuous Improvement Specialist focuses on projects that reduce costs and inventory, improve quality and flow, and improve and stabilize processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead continuous improvement efforts utilizing lean six sigma methods and tools Be the expert on Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and overall continuous improvement concepts. Coach and train team members how to use lean six sigma tools and methodologies Facilitate Kaizen/CI events. Provide support to ensure improvements are sustained Identify product families and utilize value stream mapping to determine efficient process flow and plant layouts Implement workplace organization, including 5S and Visual Management Implement standard work, visual factory and poke-yoke methods to standardize work and ensure quality Develop continuous improvement plans/road maps for CI projects Recommend continuous improvement opportunities that support the Company's strategic plan Work with all departments and functions from supplier to customer to aggressively increase inventory turns and improve lead times   Utilize problems solving methodologies to determine root cause of problems and implement effective and sustainable solutions Perform other duties as assigned by ManagerJob Requirements BS Degree in Process or Industrial Engineering, strongly preferred Minimum 3 years of experience driving Lean manufacturing with measurable results Experience leading change in lean six sigma manufacturing environment, required Experience utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools Excellent Problem Solving, Statistical and Analytical skills Strong project management skills with demonstrated success Excellent computer skills including expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to f

The Material Handler ensures materials are supplied to where they are needed, in a safe manner, to keep product flowing.  The Material Handler is responsible to ensure that material is handled with care and that quality is maintained while product moves through the process.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensures products move through production as indicated on traveler in order to meet production schedules. Collects WIP Status and Part Status as directed by the Cell Lead. Performs wash line and cleanliness testing of product during processing. Maintains oven logs and wash/cleanliness-test logs as required. Arranges product as required by the process. Moves stocked assemblies from source to shipping as required. Coordinates subassemblies with corresponding Cell Leads. Communicates materials needs to management, including bin filling. Fills line requisitions as needed in order to promote product flow. The Sr. Project Manager works with the Program Management, Business Development, Engineering and Operations teams to lead the launch and implementation of major projects – ensuring they are executed on time and on budget.
