The Role - Amphenol Military High Speed is seeking a Field Applications Engineer (Fiber Optic) to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY or Mesa, AZ.The Field Applications Engineer (Fiber Optic) will support and enable the success of a product line by providing technical support to global customers and field sales personnel, while also responding to incoming customer inquiries for information about a specific product line; and design new or modify existing electrical and specialty power solutions and products on currently active and future connector/power contract applications.The key responsibilities of the Field Applications Engineer (Fiber Optic) include, but are not limited to: Drive adoption, design-ins, and specifications for product line Respond to incoming customer inquiries for a specific product line Keep the Marketing Team aware of product enhancements for marketing purposes Assumes Program Manager responsibilities for key programs and accounts Help improve customer delivery and lead time through completion of drawings, specs at initiation of design Interfaces with other departments for the manufacturing and testing of samples Interfaces with customers and vendors to assume conformance to customer specifications Should have the ability to work with CAD and ProE applications for design Must be able to read drawings and 3D files Ability to communicate conceptual designs to production and customers Coordinate the manufacturing of customer prototypes Review customer documents for compliance with AIO requirements and if necessary, prepare new designs to conform to these documents Keep supervision informed of status of all activities on a periodic basis Must be capable of assuring form, fit, and function of components through preliminary dimensional studies, and correlate engineering data to customer specificationsSalary: $61,500 - $85,000Location - Sidney, NY 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY Mesa, AZ 25

The Role - Amphenol Military High Speed is seeking a Product Manager to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY or Mesa, AZ.The Product Manager will support and enable the success of the product line, have total knowledge of all aspects of their assigned product(s), including key account and strategic customers, costs, and pricing, sales opportunities, competition, market conditions, manufacturing methods and opportunities.The key responsibilities of the Product Manager include, but are not limited to:Product: Identify and execute on monthly order goals assisting sales in order closure Target and implement cost reduction programs Identify and prioritize new product needs and opportunities Maintain technical expertise on product line Manage strategic inventory releases to maximize profit and salesPricing & Profitability: Review incoming margins daily, driving actions as needed Meet margin expectations for both orders and revenue Establish and maintain pricing guidelines Provide pricing for corporate contacts, maximizing both share and profit Create and track cost estimates on new productPromotion: Utilize marketing communications team to develop content across web, print and multi-media platforms Develop regular promotional plans for product line Consistently review competitor promotional positioning Regularly visit key customersSales Channel: Lead pricing decisions that maximize Amphenol share and profit Develop and identify channel strategy with distribution and OEM sales teams Interface with distributors and distribution sales team to maximize Amphenol share of the shelf Support training efforts for both direct sales and distribution teamsSalary: $58,500 - $80,000Location - Sidney, NY 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY Mesa, AZ 25 minutes from Phoenix, AZA hybrid work option may be available following an initial training/orientation period.The Person - The key skills and qualities of a Product Manager at A
