The Assembly Manufacturing Engineer I is responsible for developing, and implementing manufacturing methods & processes for a printed circuit board assembly operation. This position may assists with the maintenance of assembly equipment and may provide leadership support to a group of manufacturing technicians.Duties/Responsibilities:· Establishes processes and writes procedures (work instructions) to support the processes· Identifies ways to reduce operator variability by designing fixtures or tooling· Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements and equipment layout using statistical methods.· Recommend and implement process improvements, lean manufacturing techniques and process flows to execute both production and development programs within the Operations organization· Supports production floor through equipment procurement and training staff on new equipment· Ensures equipment reliability by managing a preventative maintenance schedule that is implemented by directing technical staff to perform when and how to preform specific maintenanc
Engineering Technician APC - Nashua NH
This is a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) engineering support position requiring close attention to detail. The candidate will learn and understand the PCB manufacturing process and tooling. Must be proficient in the use of MRP software and Microsoft Office or equivalent software applications.Duties/Responsibilities:· Learn engineering and ERP software to establish proficiency in PCB engineering support.· Assist in reviewing new job data, prints, and specifications to ensure data is entered correctly and expediently in engineering and ERP systems.· Select PCB laminates and pre-pregs in compliance with customer flow downs and electrical requirements.· Create BOMs in PACCERP (Paradigm) system.· Work with process and quality engineering to investigate and resolve basic technical issues relating to PCB engineering and manufacturing.· Make recommendations on process rout changes to meet internal and external customer requirements.· Assist PCB engineers in the evaluation and processing of new materials.· Attend new product design reviews. · This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends as needed. · Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned. The Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for incoming queries related to computer, software, and hardware. Responding to customers seeking assistance, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, document findings, determines and implements solutions.Duties/Responsibilities:· Support to internal customer inquiries via phone, email and in person interaction.
