PCB Production Control/Expeditor APC - Nashua NH
Reporting to the Planning Manager the PCB Production Control/Expeditor provides a link between mid and long term (2-12 months) manufacturing plans for PWB support of internal and external customers. This is a customer focused role which requires the ability to work closely with production, planning and management to understand the manufacturing plan for success and communicate that to the manufacturing team.Duties/Responsibilities: Utilize Production Analysis and Daily Movement Reports, and Work Order Estimated Completion Report to monitor execution of jobs vs. the 2-12 internal assembly planned needs. Track on-time delivery within PWB to support internal assembly shop and small external PCB orders and give estimated completion dates at weekly Promise Meeting. Ensure jobs on hold are resolved quickly and do not age. Elevate to planning if hold cannot be resolved easily. Actively support team lead daily meetings to expedite product and improve on-time delivery of product based on manufacturing plan. Take, post, and send out list of actions and areas of risk to meet goals. Work with PCB Planning to ensure key layers for Assemblies are released on-time and composites achieve acceptable movement. Coordinate with management in resolving production planning and control issues using appropriate protocol (team lead, production manager, etc). Work with cross-functional teams to complete job orders on-time and within customer specifications. Communicate production updates daily, to Top Line Operations Managers and Planning Manager when jobs fall off track due to aging, equipment or technology issues Update MRP system work orders that go on hold for <1 day so that automated daily hold reports can be generated This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends. Product Engineer II APC - Nashua NH
This position is responsible for sustaining engineering, design, and documentation of existing products, product extensions, for rigid, flex and/or rigid-flex products. The Product Engineer II performs multiple assignments of moderate to complex scope with minimal guidance. Independently evaluates, select and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.Duties/Responsibilities: Under direction of the Product Engineering Manager, engineering of PCB tooling, methods, materials and documentation to insure the most productive manufacturing process of APC products. This includes but is not limited to rigid, flex and rigid flex products required for the manufacture and inspection of printed circuit boards and assemblies. Research and analyze data (such as customer design requirements, specifications and standards) to establish concept, feasibility, and applicability of product design. Learn existing product technologies, troubleshoot production issues, develop alternative processes/solutions to improve product, and drive to optimum customer solutions. Develops and creates product routings and manufacturing tools and based on customer requirements and manufacturing process guidelines. Interact directly with customers to identify key deliverables and establish product specifications to fulfill customer requirements. Address and resolve production and customer problems related to product design. Apply sound engineering principles, practices and procedures and possess a working understanding of common manufacturing processes.
