Engineering Co-Op– Mesa, AZShift Hours: (M-F) 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMCo Op Duration: 6 Months (January 2023 to June 2023 OR June 2023 toDecember 2023)The RoleAmphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking an Engineering Co-Op/Internship to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa. The successful candidate will report to the Project Engineer in the Engineering Department. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible and would work through the end of the year.The key responsibilities of this Engineering Co-Op/Internship include, but are not limited to: Design of tools and fixtures utilizing traditional machining and additive manufacturing methods. Identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities in a manufacturing setting. Lean/5S activities such as tool presentation and component organization. Assist in the implementation of new assembly lines and layout of factory floor. Assist in creating tools for planning and operations to more effectively schedule jobs. Contribute to other current engineering projects from design to implementation.The Location Mesa, AZ 25 minutes from Phoenix, AZThe PersonThe key skills and qualities of an Engineering Co-Op/Internship at Amphenol Aerospace Operations: 2D and 3D CAD design experience; Solidworks and AutoCAD preferred.
